Xplus / Monster Maker 28 1968 30cm Godzilla & Minilla Destroy all monsters, 55th anniversary set Still in the shipping box from the factory ( brand new ) This set has been released in 2023 No announcement was made, and was only released for Japan Originally they were expecting it to be released under favorites sculptors line set Which was included 30cm (Monster Maker 28 1968 Godzilla & Minilla) The license for the 68 Godzilla particular was expiring that year The 68 Godzilla was one of the best seller for Xplus (re-released it 4 times already ) so they wanted to release through favorite sculptors line for the last time including the 30 cm Minilla But X plus had many other figures to be released that year Originally, they were thinking of releasing 1500 pcs but the factory was not able to fulfill it so Eventually, they were only able to make 350 which they were thinking of making it worldwide under the favorite sculptors line That was the main reason including me, didn’t even know it was coming out Eventually, the only way they were able to release this was under lottery through X plus Japan Was sold out within five minutes I’m not sure if the price is right but what I heard was it was ¥48000, since the end rate was low in dollars, would probably be around $380, (not included shipping) in Japan By the time I was able to find out they released it. I had to go through secondary seller which cost me around $485. Honestly, to tell you the truth, I don’t think it was that expensive Shipping cost from Japan is ridiculously expensive. Shipping cost was probably around $78. Turned out to be around $550 to get this figure I think this is going to be the last time Xplus and MM28 will be releasing this figure This is 30 cm figure Godzilla is about 11 inches but Minilla is about 20cm witch is about 8 inches It is not the soft figure that everybody hated, this Minilla is the 30 cm Xplus vinyl figure If you only want the 68 Godzilla, I would recommend you to find one on eBay or wherever it would be much cheaper going that route You will be able to find one for around $400 Minilla is the hard one 20 (actually about 8 inches) going for around $230 Coming to think of it doesn’t make that much of a difference does it I’m thinking of selling my set for $630 I want you to know shipping to you from Hawai’i about $80 and the eBay fee 10% just about breaking even Good luck
